A private practice in Long Island, is currently seeking a licensed Physician, with a Family or Internal Medicine background, for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Suffolk County. Responsibilities: The Primary Care Physician will: Assess each patient upon their appointment Elicit and record information about patients' medical history Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnoses condition of patient Administer or prescribes treatments and medications Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of diseases Determine need for modified diet and physical activities, and recommends plan Inoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency Refer patient to other medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patients' well-being Oversee, review, supervise, and act in preceptor role to family practice residents Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine Your privacy is important to us.
