Hospitalist Physician - Now Hiring

ADULT SWING HOSPITALIST Location: Deaconess Hospital (Gateway, Midtown, Henderson)

• There are a total of 53+ employed Hospitalists in the group
• Program was started approximately 23 years ago
• Shifts are 12 hours in length
• Shift available (1p 1a) and (11a-11p) for admissions.
• 156 shifts/year (full-time), 13 shifts per month, with flexible scheduling
• Average # of admissions:
  • Midtown: 8-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 8pm
  • Gateway: 10-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 8pm
  • Henderson: 4-10 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 7pm
  • Two Nocturnists per night at Midtown and Gateway; 8p-8a
  • One Nocturnists per night at Henderson; 7p-7a
• Referral base includes ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers
• Robust subspecialty support
• Procedures not required
