Gastroenterology Physician

Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Health Care Organization: A specialized gastroenterology practice offering comprehensive care for digestive disorders. They provide services including consultations, follow-up care, and evaluations for new patients.

Opportunity: Locums Gastroenterology Coverage

• The coverage need is for one 7-day stretch a month (Friday 7am Friday 7 am). Duration of assignment is anticipated to be 12 months at least.
• During that week stretch Locum will be responsible for covering 24 hour hospital call, performing scheduled procedures in the Endo lab (half day block), answering consults as they arise, and covering 2-3 days of clinic during that week stretch.
• Clinic is required so that Physician can follow the patients that they have seen in the hospital and/or has performed scheduled procedures on.
• Clinic Schedule is 8:20 am 4 pm
• Clinic has 1 PA as well, and there will be either 1 LPN or 1 MA depending on which is available.
• Endo support includes 1 RN, 1 CRNA, and 1 tech.
• Procedures required: EGD, Colonoscopy, Flex Sig
• EMR System: EPIC
• BC/BE in Gastroenterology, licensed in South Carolina

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included
