  • Seeking full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team.
  • This is an exciting opportunity, as physicians will be a designated full-time member of the Emergency Department as well as an educator who demonstrates and provides ongoing academic leadership within the PBCGME-affiliated ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
  • 40 hours of physician coverage.
  • 22 hours of Advanced Practice Professional coverage.
  • Qualified candidates must be BC/BP EM (ABEM or AOBEM), ACLS, and PALS.
  • 35 private ED rooms.
  • 43,000 annual patient volume.
  • Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center.

Job Responsibilities

• Emergency Care: Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Educational Leadership: Serve as an educator within the ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine Residency Program, providing ongoing academic leadership.
• Physician Coverage: Ensure adequate physician coverage for the Emergency Department, contributing to the efficient operation of the facility.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Professionals and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Certification Requirements: Maintain current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
