Locum Tenens Opportunity: Diagnostic Radiologist Near Summitville, TN

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum tenens position near Summitville, TN. Position Overview:

• Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology

• Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospitals and Outpatient Centers
• EMR Systems: Epic EHR and Merge PACS

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule:
  • Sunday through Saturday general rotation
  • Weekday hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Rotating call coverage on weekends, with potential onsite work during some weekends
• Imaging Specialties:
  • General Radiology
  • Vascular Imaging
  • MRI (including Spine Neuro MR)
  • Mammography
  • Ultrasound
  • CT Nuclear Medicine
  • PET-CT
• Duties:
  • Image acquisition and interpretation across multiple modalities
  • Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Administrative and operational responsibilities related to radiology services

Required Procedures:

• Genitourinary Tract:
  • Intravenous pyelogram, voiding cystourethrogram, hysterosalpingogram
• Musculoskeletal System:
  • Comprehensive radiologic procedures
• Ultrasound:
  • Procedures involving the female pelvis, abdomen (including kidneys, liver, spleen, biliary tract, gallbladder, pancreas), thyroid, chest (for effusion), scrotum, and obstetrical ultrasound
  • Advanced ultrasound procedures: Endovaginal ultrasound, Doppler imaging of veins and arteries (e.g., carotid)
• Computed Tomography (CT):
  • Supervising and interpreting routine CT of the head, spine, body, and extremities
  • CT angiography and/or venography

Candidate Requirements:

• Licensure:
  • Must be licensed in Tennessee or Georgia
• Certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
• Experience:
  • Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, including proficiency in a wide range of imaging techniques and interventional procedures
