Locum Tenens Opportunity: Oncology/Hematology Physician Location: Near Red Bluff, California Assignment Dates: February 16th, 2024 - April 2nd, 2024 Coverage Type: Onsite and On-Call Practice Setting: Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center Support Staff: 1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 Front office clerks, 1 quality analyst/billing, and 3 infusion RNs. Long-term NP also available. Duties: Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/Oncology Patients MD oversight for both the oncology/Hematology clinic and infusion services Infusion center requires MD onsite for all treatments including Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis Injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies. Procedures: No Bone Marrow biopsies (referred to outside provider) Average Daily Census: 15-21 patients (M-Th) Call Coverage: 24/7 with around 5 calls per day Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (infusion) Requirements: Board Certified in Oncology AND Hematology (Board Eligible considered) Active CA license (Highly preferred, willing to license ASAP if not) Medical Oncology Fellowship ACLS, BLS, CA DEA Clean Malpractice/Background Disclosure of prior work at CHI/Dignity Facility COVID Vaccine Location Details: Near Lakehead, CA Contact Information: If you are interested in this opportunity, please call or text MD Staff at or email us at .
