Locums - Muncie, Indiana, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job

  • This facility is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need
  • APAY in place: Yes
  • EMR system: Possibly EPIC
  • Root Cause for opening req: New Contract
  • Shifts per month covered by locums: TDB, depends if we have core team members
  • Shift Start/End Times: Likely 7:00 am, 24hr shifts
  • Expected patients encounters per day: 5 - 8
  • Average Deliveries for Hospitalists: 1 - 4
  • NICU Level III
  • No MFM on site
  • No Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage
  • Hospitalists Not Required to Perform Circumcisions
  • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
  • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives
  • Backup Available to the Hospitalists
  • Typical Cases/Procedures: Triage, emergent GYN and 1 - 2 deliveries per day
  • Miscellaneous Information of interest to candidate: There is FPOB's and Family practice Residents
  • Schedule: 24 hours
  • Job Setting: Inpatient
  • Types of Cases: Obstetrics and Hospitalist
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible - Required
  • Active State License - Required
