June 20 (11am) to June 23 (11am)

Inpatient Only
Call, Nights & Weekends
Not required to remain on-site while on call
Average # patients/day/provider: 7-8
Average # admissions/day: 1-2
Average # admissions/night: 1-2
# Surgical cases per month: 50
Does not respond to codes
Does not serve as back up in the ER

Procedures Required: Appendectomy, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomy, I&Ds, procedures that will be emergencies

10-bed ICU

24-hour rotational shifts
ECU Health Air and ECU Health Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
