This outpatient role in a community health center offers a fulfilling environment where you will work with diverse patient populations, including vulnerable groups such as migrants and refugees. Position Details: Start Date: March 3, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed). Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). No call requirements. Patient Volume: Up to 21 patients per day. Patient Age Range: Newborns to geriatrics. Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and access to pediatricians and administrators. Charting System: Epic EMR. Responsibilities: Deliver outpatient ambulatory care, including chronic disease management and walk-in/acute care services. Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care. Provide compassionate care to diverse populations, supported by onsite interpretive services. Hit the ground running with a one-week orientation period, transitioning into full patient care by day three. Requirements: Board Certification: Family Practice (BC required). Licenses & Certifications: Active Washington state license, DEA, BLS, ACLS. Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Practice Physician with recent face-to-face patient care experience. Vaccinations: COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory. Languages: Spanish or Russian proficiency is a plus but not required. Background Check: Must have a clean record with no malpractice issues.
