Ranked as one of the nation s best children's hospitals in Pediatric Neurology & Neurosurgery by U.S. News & World Report, the neurology department provides diagnostic services, medical treatment, and follow-up care to infants, children, and adolescents who have suspected or confirmed neurological disorders. Board-certified neurologists and epileptologists manage and treat a variety of patients, including those with seizures, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders and other neurologic conditions. The Children's Hospital is accredited by the NAEC as a level 4 epilepsy center. Level 4 epilepsy centers have the professional expertise and facilities to provide high-level, comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy.
