Duties: Assist with coverage of newborn nursery Staff the eight-bed pediatric unit with step-down unit level capability and nursing Offer flexible scheduling 8am-4pm shift Weekday nights (8pm-4pm) covered by in-house APP Weekend nights covered by in-house faculty Moonlighting opportunity for extra shifts and pay Actively involved in teaching medical students & FM residents Opportunity to engage in quality improvement projects Leadership opportunities Qualifications: MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent State medical license and DEA by start Completed Pediatric residency Board certified / eligible in Pediatrics Location: Little more than 1 hour from Washington, D.C. & Baltimore, MD Rural atmosphere with lower cost of living near the metro area Fastest growing counties in the state Family friendly, little congestion and traffic.
