Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

The role of a PM&R physician is to implement and supervise a rehabilitation program to
improve quality of life. Patient care will involve performing functions such as patient examinations, ordering diagnostic testing and studies, and pain-relieving procedures and therapies.

Duties include performing:

• Telemedicine and in-person appointments with patients
• Order diagnostic studies and tests determined relevant to patient care
• Develop and execute a plan of recovery for those who have suffered a traumatic brain injury and other traumatic injuries
• Supervise physical, occupational, speech, and related therapy programs

Nice to have:

• Perform trigger point, botox injections (for headaches and other conditions), plasma rich in platelet (PRP), and other injections that may be appropriate
• Provide treatment for acute or chronic pain through medication, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, physical, occupational, and speech or related therapies

Travel to our other locations in South Texas as needed
