This provider specializes in the prevention and treatment of communicable disease, with a special emphasis on treatment and prevention of HIV, ensuring proper disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with infectious diseases including HIV, Hepatitis C, Chronic Hepatitis B, STD, and other outpatient acute and chronic disease

- Full understanding of 340B Pharmacies, Ryan White Program and coordination of HIV services
- Conduct research on infectious diseases and contribute to medical advancements
- Monitor and interpret diagnostic tests, including CT scans to create a viable treatment plan for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients

Experience/Requirements:

-Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school, with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with specialty certification in HIV medicine; or board certification in infectious disease, focus on HIV care preferred

-Clear and active Florida Medical License

· Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License

- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating infectious diseases

- Knowledge of public health practices and protocols

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals
