Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Our rural hospital, located in Bath, NY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in the Emergency Department (ED) and Observation Unit. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive, collegial environment alongside experienced ED physicians. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Observation Unit.
• Assist in the rural Emergency Department alongside ED physicians.
• Conduct assessments, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans.
• Manage and monitor patients' care throughout their stay in the hospital.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
• Ensure proper documentation and patient communication.

Qualifications:

• Current NY state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in Emergency Medicine or Acute Care preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
