Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Facility: Hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical services, and specialized programs in areas like cardiology, cancer care, and women's health. The facility is known for its patient-centered approach and commitment to community health.

Opportunity:

• Looking for about 1 week on/1 week off coverage starting in January
• The position is to help with ED on call coverage
• Providers will be expected to be on call for the ED and during their shift complete surgeries and rotate doing post op consults
• Shifts for the APP's are 7a-3p, 11a-7p weekdays and 7a-3p shifts on the weekends
• Looking for acute care surgery experience in candidates.
• The APP is there to assist the surgeon.
• If the provider is on call coverage and gets a call about an other urgent case, the APP be the first to be called to go assist and then the surgeon will join them
• Occasionally the APP does help with post op consults if the surgeon is stuck in a surgery
• There will be no clinic for this position
