Responsibilities:

• Shift Length: 12- and 24-Hour Shifts Shifts run on the 8 s (36-hour shifts are allowed on an approval basis after the provider has been working at the facility for a length of time)
• Patient Volume: 9000 ER & UC Combined 6000 for just ER only - 22 to 25 patients per 24 hours
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC, Dragon for dictation
• Trauma Level: 4

Qualifications/Requirements

• License: MN
• DEA: DEA
• Board Certification: ABEM, ABFM, ABIM (Only if they have ER experience of PEDS experience) & ABPS (Specialty Boards)
• Life Certifications needed: ACLS, BLS, ATLS or CALS w/trauma module, and PALS. 2 hours of stroke education required annually by NIHSS or similar.
• Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: Yes, must be CALS w/Trauma module
• Covid/Flu Vaccination: Not Required
