Job Description
Burger Boy is sourcing candidates for a Shift Manager position in Northeast San Antonio, Texas.
Required experience:
· Management: 1 year
Qualified candidates will have:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
ServSafe Certification
Basic administrative and computer skills.
Good reading, writing and arithmetic knowledge.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Typical duties include:
* Greets and acknowledges customers in a friendly and professional manner and receives food orders in person and by drive thru.
* Serve quality food and beverages to every customer and participate in the team effort to make sure that guests are served as quickly as possible.
* Maintain quality standards when it comes to handling and preparing food orders.
* Describe and assemble promoted products and or beverages in accordance to the ongoing marketing promotion.
* Prepares all products following appropriate recipes and procedures.
* Prepares and cooks food and beverages.
* Maintains restaurant cleanliness by cleaning windows and doors, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, ensuring counters and tables are clean, taking out the trash, etc.
* Oversees restaurant cleanliness by assuring staff is cleaning windows and doors, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, ensuring counters and tables are clean, taking out the trash, etc.
* Actively participates in meeting all cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards.
* Maintains knowledge of Burger Boy’s policies and procedures and products offered and costs and other product related information.
* Ensures restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed.
* Follows all system process to control labor costs, food costs and cash throughout shift.
* Monitors and ensures Crew Members’ compliance with all policies and procedures related to cleanliness, food safety, restaurant safety and security during shift.
* Report equipment issues and discusses other restaurant opportunities with the Restaurant Manager.
* Trains Crew Members and provides performance feedback as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
