Production Technician - Full-time

Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"spanResonetics, the world leader in micro manufacturing for the life sciences industry, is changing the industry and elevating the customer experience resulting in rapid growth domestically and internationally.  This is a phenomenal opportunity to join an innovative, fast-paced organization with an employee focused culture and put their mark on something meaningful./span/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"Our Hudson site is looking for a Produciton Technician to join their team on 2nd shift, scheduled Mon - Thur 3:30pm-1:30am/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"This position employs an individual for the purpose of assisting the Production group in the setup and operation of equipment in a process development or limited production environment.  Additional responsibilities may include but not be limited to; setup of repeat work, training other employees, performing specific preventive maintenance tasks, documenting process conditions and results, and quality reporting. From time to time as certain workload conditions develop, it may become necessary for this individual to temporarily assume the role of Laser Operator./p Responsibilities: ulliRoutine responsibilities and duties involve the use of various procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standards and practice, requiring the use of good judgment/liliUtilize various pieces of industrial machinery to complete optical and software setup of production level laser machining jobs to prescribed conditions/liliBe resourceful and adaptive with the ability to find ways around obstacles or develop new approaches and/or methods/liliSupport Production Start-up Activities through Documentation Generation, Equipment Investigations, Maintenance needs and Job Safety Assessments./liliTake ownership of all assigned activities while insuring that quality remains a high priority/liliInitiate process change or machine service requests/liliPerform simple to complex part inspections/liliAnalyze and document data and procedures/liliOperate laser systems per procedure or through instruction under a variety of conditions/liliTrain other employees to processing conditions and requirements./liliProvide  process demonstrations to clients/liliProvide assistance and troubleshooting for production issues./li/ul Required Qualifications: ulliHigh School diploma or Equivalent./lili5 years of relevant experience in the operation and setup of optic or laser equipment./liliAbility to quickly and positively adapt to changing priorities and processes./liliStrong communication and organizational skills/liliMechanical and analytical aptitude./liliAbility to exercise independent judgment within primary job functions./liliExperience in programming G code or similar languages/liliAbility to work unsupervised and be self-motivated/liliStrong math skills are necessary for this position as well as ability to read blueprints./li/ul Preferred Qualifications: ulliAssociates level technical training/li/ul Compensation: p style="margin: 0px;"The span class="mark6t58xev3n" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb=""compensation/span for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
