Experienced Residential Painter

We are looking for an experienced residential painter who enjoys the satisfying work of seeing a room transform with color. This person will be working in both our new construction builds and our maintenance division. In addition to full room painting, there is an opportunity to learn the techniques for color matching, faux finish, and decorative painting. This person will have the opportunity to interact with customers on site and must have excellent communication and problem solving skills. With over 80 years in business, DeLeers Construction specializes in design-build residential and light commercial structures so this person will get the opportunity to work in all areas. This role is based our of our Eagle River office and the work sites will be in Northern Wisconsin.nbsp;/ppFull benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, long and short term disability insurance, 401K with matching, paid vacation and holidays, and company profit sharing bonus program./ppnbsp;/ppstrongemPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/em/strong/pulliFinishes surfaces of woodwork or wall board in residential and commercial structures./liliPrepares walls/surfaces and applies wallpaper, vinyl and fabric coverings/liliPrepares surfaces to be covered, so that the paint will adhere properly/liliThoroughly covers surfaces and furniture to protect from paint./liliOn new surfaces, applies primer or sealer to prepare the surface for the finish coat./liliMix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains and special coatings to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying/liliUses color wheel and other color systems./liliClean and care for brushes, spray guns, and other equipment/liliRemoves all spattered paint after a job is complete, and cleans works sites./liliInspects all work to ensure quality and accuracy.
