Application reviews won#39;t begin until mid-summer 2025 for this role./ppstrongJob Description/strong/ppThe purpose of the Children#39;s Instructor is to provide ski instruction to young members ages 2 to 7 years old./ppstrongEssential Duties and Functions/strong/ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./pul type="disc"liExplain and demonstrate technical ski concepts in a safe, fun, and professional manner using a variety of interactive teaching methods based off age, learning style, and ability of the student within the guidelines of Yellowstone Club Snowsports School and PSIA./liliTeach a wide variety of lessons from first time skierrsquo;s to advanced studentrsquo;s and everything in between.nbsp;/liliSet lesson plans based on Members and/or guests needs.nbsp;/liliSummarize with parents at the end of the lesson, to include reviewing skills worked on and progress made./liliUphold the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions./liliEnsure that students are matched to appropriate skier/snowboarding skill level and working with supervisors/managers to make appropriate changes when necessary./liliHelp with completion of other on mountain tasks, including but not limited to set up and tear down of on mountain props. Building and installing interactive on mountain content.nbsp;/liliActively participate in our Yellowstone Club Training program to meet our required training and PSIA event participation requirements.nbsp;/liliMaintain Current and active membership in PSIA.nbsp;/liliRead and understand all safety and operating policies and procedures.
