Job Summary
We are a non-profit organization with a goal to provide low cost and free mental health therapy. We are seeking a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team! In this role you teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Perform regular wellness checks
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed therapist in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist) with a master’s or doctoral degree in a related field."
- Active license in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
- Previous experience as a marriage and family therapist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- Must be able to bill insurance with us
- Be able to take a case load of 10-15 clients a week.
