Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient imaging setting, requiring a valid Virginia license in hand along with ARRT Advanced certification and hands-on mammography experience including 3-D and digital imaging.

• Outpatient imaging facility
\n
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography with a variable daily caseload
\n
• Procedures include screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D (tomosynthesis) mammography
\n
• Equipment includes Hologic DBT and Hologic DEXA; GE, Siemens, Philips, and Samsung Ultrasound experience preferred
\n
• Charting via Epic
\n
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
\n
• No weekend or on-call requirements
\n
• No floating within the facility or to sister facilities
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
\n
• Valid Virginia state license required — pending or temporary licenses are not accepted; license required if applicable
\n
• Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced certification required
\n
• Proficiency with PACS and outpatient imaging workflows required
\n
• Experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography required
\n
• Experience with Hologic DBT and Hologic DEXA required
\n
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
\n
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
\n
