American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ year of vascular experience for a 13-week contract at a Level II Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma acute care hospital in Florida.
Details- Work in a 4-room IR suite with 3 biplane rooms (3 Siemens, 1 GE) at a 615-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
- Wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management, and oncology procedures (Y-90, MAAs, chemoembolizations)
- Daily caseload of 20-30 cases per tech
- Cerner EMR preferred
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Weekend work required, with one Saturday per month
- On-call required approximately 8-10 days per month depending on staffing; 30-minute response time to arrive at the hospital; on-call sleep rooms are available
- May float within clinical scope to meet facility needs; no floating to sister facilities
- Local candidates are accepted
- Minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience with vascular experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
- FL license required; license required if applicable
- Proficiency with PACS, contrast, and biopsies required
- Experience with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy IR required
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- No RTO allowed during the contract
- Black or navy scrubs required
- Parking is included
