Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, OR.

Details\n
    \n
  • Short-term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
  • \n
  • Mammography unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
  • \n
  • Day shift, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • \n
  • No weekends, on-call, or block scheduling required
  • \n
  • No floating between units within this assignment
  • \n
  • Epic EMR — experience required
  • \n
  • Travelers may be expected to float between all facilities within the state
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
  • \n
  • Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • Biopsy experience preferred but not required
  • \n
  • Active professional license required if applicable
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • \n
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • \n
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • \n
  • Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this role
  • \n
  • No parking fee at this facility
  • \n
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
