Job Description: X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist)
\nSchedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Additional Requirements: Every Other Weekend (EOW) and one on-call shift every 3 weeks

Position Summary:
\n The X-Ray Technician will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a 900-bed healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of radiologic technology experience, be able to work independently, and have experience with GE imaging equipment. The technologist must be comfortable performing imaging procedures in the Operating Room (OR) and supporting a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and department protocols. \n
- Operate GE imaging equipment and demonstrate proficiency in equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and routine care. \n
- Provide imaging support in the Operating Room while maintaining patient safety and appropriate workflow. \n
- Independently manage assigned workload and prioritize imaging requests in a high-volume hospital setting. \n
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety practices. \n
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic services. \n
- Maintain proper documentation and comply with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality assurance procedures. \n
- Participate in weekend rotation and scheduled on-call coverage as required. \n
Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of 18 months experience as an X-Ray Technician/Radiologic Technologist. \n
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography School. \n
- Current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist (RT) License. \n
- ARRT Certification. \n
- Current BLS Certification. \n
- Experience with GE imaging equipment required. \n
- Must be comfortable working in the OR environment. \n
- Ability to work independently in a large 900-bed hospital facility. \n
