Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiology Technologist you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions. Every day you could perform any variety of imaging examinations such as x-rays, Dexa, EKGs, and CT/CAT scans to name a few. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
- Successfully performs clinical procedures
- Provides guidance to the Radiology Technologist students to help provide a successful clinical education
- Follows established radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
- Manages the routine use and the QC requirements of Radiology equipment
- Demonstrates professional practice standards
- Provides appropriate patient care for all Radiology patient needs
We are offering a $30,000 employment incentive to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Job RequirementsRequired
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist (or registry eligible graduate) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must achieve registration within six months of graduation or hire date
- BLS-CPR certification within 480 hours of employment
Preferred
- Preference for one (1) year experience working as a Radiologic Technologist
