American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a short-term acute care hospital in Lancaster, SC, requiring prior travel experience and an active SC or Compact RN license.

- Short-term acute care hospital with 97 staffed beds \n
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit \n
- Patient ratio of 1:6–1:7 \n
- Night shift available as 3x12s or 4x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- No on-call requirements \n
- Floating within scope to like units or sister facilities may be required \n
- Charting performed in Epic \n
- Free parking on-site \n

- Active SC RN license or Compact RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must have an active license prior to start \n
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) \n
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required \n
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered \n
- Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias \n
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration \n
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration \n

- A virtual interview with the Nursing Director is required for all candidates \n
- Candidates must complete all assigned pre-start modules; access is typically granted the Wednesday before the start date \n
- Attendance at staff meetings is required \n
- Scrub color: Royal Blue \n
- Candidates who have previously worked at any MUSC location as permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being considered as a traveler \n
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are given priority \n
- Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate \n
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs \n
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September \n
