Position Details
This position will not accept local candidates. 
Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)
Minimum of 2 years CVICU experience required. 
All candidates must be able to recover immediate post-op CABG, TAVR and VAD patients and must be team players.
36 hour weeks but 48 hours if possible.
ACLS, BLS and NIHSS required

 

Unit Specific Details
 

Unit Size: 8 beds (within 30 bed ICU).

Ratios: 1:1 for fresh post-op CABG’s and 1:2-3 for more stable patients.

Patient Population: Cardio-Thoracic Post-Op procedures including CABG, TAVR’s and VAD’s. 

Lines/Drains/Devices: Swan Catheter experience required.  Experience with Impella, IABP and CRRT preferred.

Airway: All oxygen modalities.

Drips: Critical drips with routine titration.

Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday.

Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs.
