KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and prepare surfaces. (Masking, grit blasting or chemical prep)
• Prepare paints. A high degree of accuracy is required. Use of viscosity cups, thickness gauges and gloss gauges to test makeup of paint and an understanding of chemistry mix of compounds is required
• Clean work area. Knowledgeable in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste
• Maintain equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining paint equipment and troubleshooting
• Experience in high-end paint prepping. Sign industry experience preferred
• Painters’ only - Experience using industrial spray guns, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance
• Other duties as required

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Experience using industrial spray guns, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-production work environment
• Read, write, and speak English
• Self-motivated and work well in a team and independently

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
• Ability to be fitted for a Respirator, both Medically and Physically
• Others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role
