Participate in curriculum development and review and order instructional materials and equipment.p/pp/ppbRequired Qualifications:/b/ppbEssential Duties and Responsibilities/b/pulliAssist during lab portions of all health sciences courses offered dual credit./liliAssist student skills facilitation at clinical sites under oversight of faculty./liliReview computer software, and videos, and advise faculty on recommended usage of these materials in their courses./liliOrder and maintain an adequate stock of equipment; supplies as needed for skill performance./liliAssist and participate in curriculum development, and development of check-off scenarios for the health sciences lab courses offered dual credit, MSAA, and related certificates on Collin campuses/liliSchedule use of the health sciences lab as needed./liliAttend faculty meetings, and meet with faculty or director as needed./liliAssist all health sciences students  of dual credit, MSAA , and related certificates as applicable in the lab for facilitating basic and advanced skills./liliDevelop and maintain Procedures and Guidelines Manual for the health sciences lab./liliOrder and maintain an adequate stock of equipment; supplies as needed for skill performance in courses./liliSet up/assist set up of the lab for skills validations as well as student learning./li/ulp/ppbSupplemental Functions/b/pulliPerform other duties as assigned./liliPerform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with Collin College policies, procedures and Core Values./li/ulp/ppbPhysical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort/bbr /Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. Occasional physical effort required.br / br /bRequired/bbr /BSN degree from an accredited institution.br /One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.br /One (1) year of clinical nursing care experience./pp/ppbPreferred/bbr /One (1) year of community college or university teaching experience in both didactic and clinical education with an accredited nursing program.br / br /ibLicenses and Certifications/b/ibr /Registered Nursing (RN) credential from the Texas Board of Nursing required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers or equivalent required./pp/ppThis position is generally limited to working a maximum of 19.5 hours per week.
