Barback - Full-time

pDescription/ppstrongDes Moines Renaissance Savery/strong is looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard-working food and beverage team at our strongStepStone Hospitality/strong managed hotelstrong./strong Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!nbsp;nbsp;/ppbr//pp· Stock and restock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies./pp· Keep bar areas clean and organized throughout the shift./pp· Assist bartenders by retrieving items, changing kegs, and cleaning spills./pp· Wash and polish glassware./pp· Empty trash and recycling regularly./pp· Sweeps and mops floors in bar and bar storage areas daily./pp· Help with bar opening, closing, and side work duties./pp· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations./pp· Occasionally assist with bar service during peak hours (if trained and permitted)./pp· Inform the manager of a requisition for liquor and supplies./pp· Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tops, tools, and glassware./pp· Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints./pp· Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests./pp- Comply with all food and beverage regulations and health/safety guidelines.nbsp;/ppRequirements/ppbr//pp· Minimum lifting of 50 pounds./pp· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity./pp· Hearing, writing, typing./pp· Minimum pulling of 50 pounds./pp- Other duties may be assigned.nbsp;/ppnbsp;emstrongnbsp;Stepstone Hospitality and the Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel are Equal Opportunity Employers - EOE/M/F/D/Vnbsp;/strong/em nbsp;nbsp;/p
