Work where you matter./b/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pbrbA Brief Overview/bbrbrPerforms a variety of general, mechanical, and preventative maintenance duties as well as inspections, servicing, repair, and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the campus. Responsible for the operation, testing, and inspection of all boilers in the facility complex. Will report back to duty when a major electrical or boiler problem occurs. brbrbWhat you will dobr/bbrulliPerforms electrical checks and repairs on systems equipment; and electrical installation of work testing./li liMaintains current knowledge of all electrical codes and laws and hospital electrical systems and emergency power equipement./li liInforms contract electrician of all electrical work performed for final inspection and approval (applicable for Journeyman only). Monitors the activities of electrical contractors./li liHas knowledge of electrical system layouts, including electrical risers, breakers, etc./li liMaintains the electrician logs and monitors/repairs hospital boilers/systems./li liEnsures that all utility systems are kept running smoothly and efficiently by conducting daily tests, readings, adjustments and chores./li liPerforms and records appropriate preventive maintenance on: air Handling Units, air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, electro/mechanical equipment, boilers and heating systems, and, plumbing systems. Keeps accurate and current records for all work done./li liKeeps all work areas and work rooms clean and assures all chemicals are in correctly marked containers and are stored properly./li liAssists with repairs to roofs, ceilings, walls, floors windows as assigned by Director and/or Supervisor./li liAssists with Electro/mechanical equipment rebuilding./li/ulbrbEssential Qualifications/bbrbrThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
