As we continue to grow, we’re excited for YOU to be a part of the evolution of DSW. /p pbReports to: /bStore Manager and/or Customer Experience Leader (CEL)/p p /p pbOur Values:/b/p pbWe Love What We Do/b/p ul liBring positive energy and enthusiasm./li /ul pbWe Own What We Do/b/p ul liGive and receive feedback openly and embrace change as opportunities for growth./li /ul pbWe Do What’s Right/b/p ul liModel high standards of honesty and integrity./li /ul pbWe Belong/b/p ul liValue unique experiences and encourage different perspectives./li /ul p /p pbEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/b/p pbBe empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:/b/p p• Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at./p p• Share the benefits of the DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) Loyalty program and enroll new members./p p• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through either in-store sales or digital orders./p p /p pbBe committed to the customer having a consistent positive experience:/b/p p• We own the physical shopping environment therefore the role includes maintaining a neat, clean, and safe environment for our internal and external customers./p p• This includes but is not limited to the following:  clearing trash from the aisles, cash wrap, and stockroom, returning shoes back to their location according to DSW standards, cleaning the associate breakroom and public restrooms, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors and front walkways along with any other housekeeping items deemed necessary./p p• Receive inbound freight, prepare, and place merchandise on the sales floor per DSW standards, complete markdowns, maintain clearance standards, and organize and maintain the stockroom./p p /p pbBring the power of shoes to life by leveraging in-store and digital services:/b/p p• Complete all functions of the fulfillment process including locating items, inspecting condition of product, packaging and label placement ensuring readiness for pick up/delivery./p p• Use of company tools to search product availability to order for the customer ie. iPhone, Register./p p• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team./p p /p pbBe responsible to pause and the put the customer first:/b/p p• Complete customer transactions while following DSW’s policies and procedures./p p• Responsible for accuracy in counting money and providing correct change./p p• Operate a calculator and enter data via the register keyboard./p p• Partner with the Customer Experience Leader (CEL) when customer situations and service issues escalate./p p• Follow all asset protection policies and procedures./p p /p pbBring fun and energy to everything you do: /b/p p• Actively participates in daily team meetings and ongoing training./p p• Be open to and responsive to coaching and feedback./p p• Demonstrate teamwork and support inclusivity./p p /p pbRequired Skills:/b/p ul liMust have the availability to meet the needs of the business./li liProfessional, friendly, and customer service focused./li liAbility to move with tempo to meet time bound expectations./li liGood verbal and written communication skills./li liProficient in use of technology to successfully engage in customer interactions (Register, Register Keyboard, iPhone, Calculator)./li liMust have the ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store./li liLifting, including the ability to a name="_Int_Su2vUA7G"lift up/a to a maximum of 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis./li liStoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a frequent basis./li /ul p /p pbExperience:/b/p ul liNo previous retail experience required./li /ul pThe estimated pay range for this position is $15.25 to $16.25. The successful candidate’s actual pay rate offer will take into account a wide range of job-related factors including skill sets, years and nature of relevant experience, training, pay rates of associates in similar positions, the candidate’s location, and other organizational needs. The estimated pay range has been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid or unpaid time off work, and/or retirement benefits, unless required by law.
