American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position at an acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MO or compact RN license.
Details- Work setting is a 233-bed acute care hospital in the Emergency Department
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 17:45–06:15
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend; night shift weekends may fall on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on existing rotation
- Charting system is Epic; experience with Epic is required
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license required; candidates with IL licensure may apply with a pending IL license
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
- Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Navy scrubs required
- Parking is provided at no cost
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Former permanent employees of BJC facilities must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Travel RNs may work at BJC facilities for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
- Scrub color required is navy
