L&D RN (Family Birthplace) – Nights | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend
- Start Date: July 13, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; first-time travelers welcome

- Active Maryland RN License
- BLS
- NRP
Preferred Certifications
- ACLS
- STABLE
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced
Patient Ratios
- Triage: 1:4
- Early Labor/Induction: 1:2
- Active Labor: 1:1
- Cesarean Delivery: 1:1
- Postpartum: 1:4

Unit Overview
This is an LDRP unit with an attached Level II Special Care Nursery (NICU). The department includes:
- 14 LDRP rooms
- 9 overflow beds (Postpartum C-section, Antepartum, NAS, and bili-baby patients)
- 2 triage beds
- 2 antenatal testing bays
- 2 operating rooms
- 2 PACU bays
- 9-bed Special Care Nursery
Additional Information
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Floating: May be required within specialty and sister units as needed
- On-Call: Not required
