American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a 13-week night shift assignment on an Ortho/Spine unit, requiring a strong orthopedic background and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

- Position is located on the 5 East Ortho/Spine unit of a hospital in Chattanooga, TN \n
- 26-bed unit focused on orthopedic and spine surgical patients, including knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries \n
- Patient ratio is 6:1 \n
- Unit is supported by unit secretaries, PCTs, and a Navigator \n
- Equipment used includes coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs \n
- Charting is performed in Meditech \n
- Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM \n
- 4 weekend shifts required per schedule block \n
- Floating is required on a rotation basis \n

- Active RN license — TN state license or a Compact RN license required \n
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) \n
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in orthopedics or a related med/surg specialty \n
- Strong orthopedic nursing background required \n
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration \n
- One professional reference required \n
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible \n
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n

- Candidate will provide post-surgical nursing care to orthopedic and spine patients \n
- Navy scrubs are required as the dress code \n
