RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work under the supervision of the Med-Surg Nurse Manager
\n• Provide nursing care for general medical/surgical patients including oncology, observation, hospice, and medical-surgical patients
\n• Complete nursing assessments and document appropriately in patient charts
\n• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
\n• Oversee delegation of patient care to unit staff
\n• Accept responsibility for directing co-workers in implementation of patient care plans
\n• Work every other weekend and holiday schedule
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• 2+ years of Med-Surg experience required
\n• Medical/Surgical observation experience required
\n• Recent travel work experience highly preferred
\n• Active Michigan nursing license required with LARA and/or Nursys verification
\n• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
\n• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to Med-Surg specialty required
\n• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
