Dispensary Sales Associate - Upper Westside - Full-time

As a Dispensary Sales Associate, you will help shape the in-store experience and serve as a key point of connection between customers and the brand. This role is centered on delivering thoughtful service, supporting smooth day-to-day store operations, and helping customers navigate products with confidence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, tablet placement and removal, and prepping workstations.
• Create an environment that prioritizes the customer and delivers excellent interactions.
• Check in, verify, and create new customer profiles upon entry to the dispensary.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality with customer information and interactions.
• Control the pace of customer traffic within the dispensary.
• Educate and assist customers with creating orders by providing suggestions based on available products and customer needs.
• Inform customers of current promotions or highlighted products.
• Create customer orders and accept payment at the point of sale using the provided operating system.
• Stay up to date on company brands, products, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with occasional deliveries when scheduled in advance.
• Provide marketing support as needed, including distributing flyers, assisting with storefront activations, and participating in brand collaboration events.
• Support additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of customer-facing sales experience.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and tablet-based order entry.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and sit, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales.
• Dispensary experience, cannabis product knowledge, or experience in regulated retail environments.
• Experience checking IDs, verifying eligibility, and handling confidential customer information.
