Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier based in Newport, California, is currently seeking a results-driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager for the West, to join our dynamic and growing juice beverage company. As one of the nation's largest suppliers of premium craft citrus juice, Perricone Farms is expanding its reach and looking for a talented professional to drive growth in the West. Compensation: Competitive base salary range of $110-130k + Incentive Bonus Plan
The Regional Sales Manager (West) will be responsible for driving revenue, managing key customer relationships, and executing sales strategies that align with our brand’s mission of delivering premium, craft juices. The RSM will be responsible for managing a defined territory achieving regional sales goals, developing key partnerships, presenting at general sales meetings and ensuring consistent pipeline growth. The ideal candidate will have a foodservice sales background, strong communication skills, and is effective in building business alliances and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as the face of Perricone Farms and Natalies Orchid Island Juice Co. with communication and interaction with internal partners, distributors, and retail partners.
- Manage and grow sales to meet and exceed sales goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region. Manage and grow existing customer accounts, including distributors, retailers, food service partners, and ingredient customers.
- Manage a team of 4-5 sales reps and grow sales profitably
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts distributors and other channel partners.
- Lead sales presentations and training of our products at general sales meetings and other partner meetings.
- Create and execute strategic plans to expand the customer base and increase market share.
- Work with accounts receivable to support and help manage customer accounts issues, seeing that issues are handled quickly and professionally.
- Utilize CRM and other tools to track BDM activity, seeing that systems are managed and maintained with up-to-date records of all sales activity.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities in white space.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, production team (when applicable), operations team, and other departments to ensure business needs are met.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings as needed.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to leadership
Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
Organizational Relationships:
- Position reports to Director of Sales (West)
Qualifications:
- Location – Southern California (Orange County & Los Angeles County)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the beverage, CPG, or food & beverage industry, with at least 2 years in a regional or territory management role in foodservice.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region (up to 50%).
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
