Preferred: Registered CT specialist or one Finger Lakes Health is offering a 13-week internal contract for a CT Tech, at Geneva General Hospital. year additional training at AMA approved school in CT. License: NYS license Certifications Required: ARRT Certifications Preferred: ARRT certification in CT An understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology. Sensitive and reassuring approach to patients. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literacy. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Responsibility Summary Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, performs with minimal supervision a diversity of technical radiographic (CT) assignments, diagnostic and complex in nature, which require theoretical insight and experience. Exercises complex skill, judgment and knowledge of the principles and methods of the radiographic technical field. The CT Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Call may be required. FLH 123 Rate of pay based on experience $65.00-$70.00
