American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS/CPI certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience.

  • Full-service community hospital Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population
  • \n
  • Patient population spans all ages (birth through end of life), with a predominantly adult census and occasional pediatric patients
  • \n
  • Includes a locked behavioral health unit with 12-bed capacity
  • \n
  • High-acuity, fast-paced ED environment
  • \n
  • A Level 1 pediatric trauma center is located nearby for pediatric trauma cases
  • \n
  • Schedule: 4x12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active MA RN license (or eligibility for an emergency MA RN license) required
  • \n
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a large Emergency Department
  • \n
  • Prior travel assignment experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers with strong ED backgrounds may be considered
  • \n
  • 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • \n
  • Full 7-year work history with all employment gaps explained required for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • CPI training will be provided on-site for candidates who require it
  • \n
  • First-time travelers with at least 2 years of solid large ED experience will be considered
  • \n
  • All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
  • \n
  • Located in Holyoke, MA, in the heart of the Pioneer Valley, approximately 90 miles west of Boston
