Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT CT or ARRT R certification for a 13-week assignment at a community hospital with an active ED.

\n
• 35-bed community hospital with a 14-bed ED
\n
• Work settings include adult acute care, adult and pediatric outpatient, ED, ICU, and pediatric acute care
\n
• Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
\n
• Skills include image display and post-processing, 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and ROI measurement
\n
• Common imaging areas include abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular
\n
• Equipment used includes GE CT scanners and PACS
\n
• Epic EMR experience is required
\n
• Predominantly swing shifts from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with some night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n
• 40 hours per week on a 4x12-hour shift schedule
\n
• On-call is available but not required
\n
• No floating outside of role scope
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
\n
• ARRT CT or ARRT R certification required
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• Valid state license required where applicable
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Proficiency in image post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
\n
• Experience with CT-guided special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
\n
• Ability to perform contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
\n
• Two professional references from supervisory positions within the past year are required for consideration, with no pending references
\n

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days for the duration of the 13-week assignment

• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial application

• Orientation includes completion of required modules, which vary by specialty
