Become a vital part of a healthcare team in Wytheville, VA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in an outpatient setting. Professional communication and adherence to safety and radiation protocols are required.
\nMinimum Qualifications:
\n- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT exams and following contrast administration protocols.
- Experience working in an outpatient imaging environment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
\n- Experience with multi-slice CT scanners and advanced post-processing techniques.
- Experience with electronic medical records and PACS systems.
Assignment Details
\n- Shift hours: 1130-2330.
- Weekly orientation scheduled Wed–Friday block.
- May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
