Job Description
Valley View's Medical Records team is seeking a full-time Coding Team Lead!
Responsible for supporting the daily operations related to the Professional Fee Coding and Coding Audits performed for the Hospitalists, ED Physicians, and the Clinic Medical Staff. In addition to coding and auditing, education will be provided to all three areas related to the development, implementation and maintenance of, and adherence to VVH policies and procedures covering coding and reimbursement in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. The Pro Fee Coding Lead is responsible for working in conjunctions with the pro fee coding staff and will be the primary contact for the Hospitalists, ED Physicians, and Clinic Medical Staff in regard to their Education and Training related to the professional fee coding guidelines and billing process. The Pro Fee Coding Lead will work closely with the Director of HIM to complete monthly, quarterly and annual coding reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Pro Fee Coder with active CPC Credentials (RHIT or RHIA)
- Must be certified through AHIMA/AAPC
- Minimum 5 years' professional coding experience familiar with coding concepts, CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, ICD-10-PCS
- Prior experience as a coding educator and lead, preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology.
- Effective communication skills, written and oral.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time

SALARY
- Position wage range: $26.86 - $39.50/hour
- Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set
