Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Nights and weekend coverage needed
• Minimum of 5 shifts a month, preferably 8-10
• Shifts are 8p-8a or 8a-8p
• Cover 3 sites

Clinical Details:

• Annual volume: 18,527 (15-20 patients per shift per provider)
• Total Number of Beds: 11
• Fast track in ED
• EMR: All Scripts/Paragon
• Will oversee APPs
• ED Physician writes orders for Admissions
• Deliveries sent directly to Labor & Delivery
• Consultants available: Radiologist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Urologist, Hematologist/Oncologist
• Percent (%) of Total Hospital Admissions Received from ED: 17
• Percent (%) of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital per Day: 17%
• Percent (%) of ED Patients Transferred per Day: Less than 7%

Requirements:

• Must be available for nights and weekends
• OH state License required; will accept IMLC with proof of LOQ
• COVID Vaccination
• Must be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM
• Must have ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Must have 2+ years of recent experience
• NRP required
