div pThe Ground Service Attendant is responsible for overall cleanliness of the aircraft, vehicles, and ground equipment used in the Operation, and for assisting with the departure and arrival of the Lāna’i Air aircraft. Safety of the guests and assets are of utmost importance and the Ground Service Attendant is responsible to ensure that this is adhered to. The team will interact with the Logistics Coordinators and Western Aircraft crew and maintenance team on a regular basis. nbsp;Communication is key to ensure a smooth and safe operation. The primary goal of this position is to support the increased occupancy for the Four Seasons Resorts on Lāna’i./p pnbsp;/p pstronguCompensation:/u/strong/p p$21.16/hour (non-exempt). nbsp;This is a Casual position./p pstronguReporting Relationship:/u/strong/p pReports to: nbsp; nbsp; Operations Manager – Lāna’i Air/p pSupervises:nbsp; nbsp; n/a/p /div div stronguQuality Standards:/u/strong /div div ul liConduct individual and business affairs in highest ethical and legal fashion./li liEstablish and contribute to a supportive, creative, enthusiastic, and cooperative working environment for all./li liBuild strong communication links with supervisors, peers, and employees./li liContinuously strive for excellence in the workplace, the Company environment, and as a Company representative./li liComply with all Company policies and standards./li liConducts business in alignment with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Pūlama Lāna‘i./li /ul /divh3Responsibilities/h3divpstronguEssential Duties/u/strong/p div ul liPositions (tow) aircraft, as required, to meet daily flight operations and maintenance requirements./li liProvides aircraft marshaling, as required, utilizing hand signals to safely maneuver aircraft into and out of parking./li liResponsible for baggage handling, loading/offloading, and servicing of all inbound and outbound aircraft in accordance with prescribed procedures./li liPerforms FOD (Foreign Object Debris) inspections./li liAssists with transporting guests in a vehicle or golf cart between airport, lounge, or aircraft./li liOperates Company vehicles, radios, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner./li liEnsures that vehicles are fueled properly./li liPerforms other duties as assigned./li /ul /div/divh3Qualifications/h3divdiv stronguQualification/Requirements:/u/strong /div div ul liHigh school diploma/GED, preferred./li liPrevious airline experience, preferred./li liPhysical labor experience and/or working in a warehouse environment./li liRequires the highest level of professionalism and hospitality when interacting with Lāna’i Air guest./li liRequires good verbal and written communication skills./li liRequires the ability to follow oral and written instructions./li liRequires good judgment and a common sense approach to the work./li liMust thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to lend a helping hand./li liMust be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under conditions that are changing on a moment’s notice./li liRequires an ability to take responsibility and be accountable./li liMust be skilled in multi-tasking. The work load is constant and must be handled in a timely manner. Responsible to handle a variety of tasks at the same time./li liMust work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and third party vendors./li liMust be able to problem solve and to identify resources to use when faced with irregular operations./li liMust have a practical background in application of aviation regulations, safety standards, and safe operating practices./li liMust complete all Company-required initial training successfully./li liMust be flexible with schedule and be able to work within a 24/7 operation; including weekends (ie.
