divdivpstrongspan style="font-size: 24px;"Courtyard Baton Rouge is seeking a Housekeeper to join the team. nbsp;We offer great benefits and a great place to work./span/strong/ppbr/pp id="isPasted"stronguHousekeeping Hourly Job Description/u/strong/ppFSLA: Non- Exempt/ppReports to: Housekeeping Manager/Housekeeping Supervisor/ppnbsp;/ppuJob Expectation:/u/ppA strongHousekeeping Hourly/strong is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel, servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking cart with room supplies, and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures./ppuQUALIFICATION STANDARDS/u/pulliClean guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations. To include but no limited to:olliPicking up trash/liliChanging linen and making the bed/liliCleaning entire bathroom/liliSweeping and dusting guest room/liliCleaning the windows and balcony/li/ol/liliRetrieve, stock, restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations./liliReceive assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the Senior Housekeeper. Turn in keys and unused supplies at the end of shift./liliRespond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction./liliReport any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper and turn in articles left in the room./liliCoordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance when needed./li/ulpuEducation amp; Experience:/u/pulliExperience in a hotel or a related field preferred BUT NOT REQUIRED./li/ulpuPhysical requirements:/u/pulliLong hours are sometimes required but an average week is 36-40 hours./liliMedium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects./liliAbility to bend, lift, and be standing or walking during entire shift/liliMust be able to convey information and ideas clearly./liliMust be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests/liliMight be asked to perform other duties, as mandated by management./li/ul/div/div
