UAC supplies aircraft manufacturers and their subcontractors worldwide and has served the aircraft industry for over four decades./p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liActively identify and participate in continual improvement opportunities/li liMaintain roll form tooling ul liLog die set numbers, templates and other shop aids with locations/li liPull die sets, templates, and shop aids for specific part numbers/li liReturn tooling to proper locations/li liPolish die sets ul liInspect for damage, wear and tear/li /ul /li liPreset dies/li liReview dies for obsolescence/li liOther tasks as directed by Roll Form Supervisor/li /ul /li liPromote efficient workflow in the Roll Form department ul liReview roll form production schedule with Roll Form Supervisor/li liCoordinate tasks for Production Assistants ul liPreset dies/li liRetrieve, prepare and deliver raw material to the roll form machines/li liTeardown of roll form machines/li /ul /li liAssist Roll Form Operators to increase productivity ul liFeeding material/li liLeveling material/li liBuffing material/li liDe-twisting/li liPulling and stacking parts/li liTear down machines/li liOther tasks as directed by the Roll Form Supervisor/li /ul /li /ul /li liOrganization of stock raw materials ul liIdentify raw materials with inventory tags/li liIdentify raw material locations/li liVerify weight and/or count of inventory in the computer system/li liConsolidate material to maximize storage capacity in the raw material warehouse/li /ul /li liUtilize 5S to organize work areas (tool crib, dies polishing stations, and preset area) ul liA place for everything and everything in its place/li liPerform cleaning, organization, and maintenance tasks to promote safety, increase production and organization/li /ul /li liReview and maintenance of written setups ul liVerify and document changes made by Roll Form Operator/li liGeneral recording keeping and filing/li /ul /li liAssist with receiving raw materials ul liVerify Purchase Order Number/li liVerify material condition and specifications/li liVerify coil weight and count/li liVerify the number of sheets/li /ul /li liEffectively communicate with management, support staff, and other employees/li liTrain new employees and cross-train existing employees/li liOther duties as assigned/li /ul pstrongQualifications:/strong/p ul liMinimum Education: High School diploma or GED/li liMinimum Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred/li liCertifications Required: Annual forklift training/li /ul pstrongKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/strong/p ul liCommunication Skills: Read, write, and speak English fluently/li liMathematical Skills: Basic math skills ul liDecimals and fractions/li liAddition, subtraction, multiplication, and division/li /ul /li liReasoning Skills: Critically think by use of knowledge, facts, and data to effectively solve problems/li liInterpersonal Skills: Collaborative, dedicated, team goal-oriented, and reliable/li liPrint Reading: Able to read and interpret roll form set up and production prints/li liComputer: Proficient with general computer operation, use of IIS, Rad-Tabs, and Excel/li liForklift Operation: Loading coil, moving raw materials, relocating ancillary production equipment, loading/unloading trucks, and general use of a forklift/li liUse of hand and powered tools/li liMeasuring Equipment: Proficient with the use of digital calipers, digital micrometers, height gauge, digital protractor, radius gauges, templates, and tape measure/li liPhysical Abilities: Able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. repeatedly/li /ul pstrongWorking Conditions:/strong/p ul liSchedule: 7:00 AM � 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday/li liOvertime: As deemed necessary by Roll Form Supervisor/li /ul pstrongSafety: /strong/p pAll UAC employees must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries./p pstrongEqual Opportunity and Reasonable Accommodation: /strong/p pUAC is an equal opportunity employer.
