Parts Coordinator- CARSTAR Windfern Collision - Full-time

pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Job Summary:/span/p pThe Parts Coordinator is responsible for assisting Auto Body Technicians and Estimators with parts procurement for repairs of damaged vehicles. Have time to spend with your family personal recharge time!/li /ul pbrspan style="font-weight: bold;"Duties/Responsibilities: /span/p ul liResponsible for all parts purchases/orders, handling of parts, sublet and materials, and using Repair Center procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, dispensing and documenting all part orders./li liResponsible for inspecting each part received for accuracy, proper pricing and damage./li liResponsible for storing all received parts with proper repair orders and/or ensure correct parts are issued to proper technicians./li liAssist estimators with acquiring the required and correct parts for any work in process./li liManage overall parts-returns to less than 20%. Return incorrect and defective parts and reorders for credit to the appropriate suppliers and document promptly in CARSTAR’s management system./li liUpon completion of vehicle repair, return unnecessary parts for credit and document./li liHelp with general maintenance of the facility, e.g., cleanliness, organization, etc./li liPerform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner that does not expose yourself or other employees to unnecessary risk of injury./li liAttend daily release meetings/li liOther duties as assigned./li /ul pbrspan style="font-weight: bold;"Experience Requirements:/span/p ul liExperience working as a Auto Collision Parts Coordinator /li liFluent using CCC estimating software/li liBackground and experience working in the automotive industry/li liDetailed with an eye for seeing the tiniest things in life/li liPositive, can-do attitude with the desire to work in a team setting/li liComfortable using various computer programs/li liAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment./li /ul
