pThe Before After School Site Director plays a vital leadership role in ensuring that our programs meet all quality and compliance standards. This position requires a highly qualified individual with a valid Florida Child Care Director’s Credential and at least two years of childcare management experience. The Site Director will supervise staff, maintain strong communication with school administration and area managers, and create structured, engaging programs that meet students’ educational and recreational needs./p

liOversee and ensure the successful implementation of before- and after-school programs in compliance with district policies and state regulations./li
liLead, train, and supervise program staff to maintain a high standard of childcare and education./li
liEstablish and maintain strong relationships with school administration, staff, parents, and students./li
liEnsure accurate record-keeping for billing, attendance, and staff/child health and safety./li
liCreate and manage a structured program that balances educational and recreational activities./li
liServe as the primary point of contact for parents, school administrators, and students./li
liFoster an inclusive environment and model positive behavior to encourage students’ personal and academic growth./li

lispan style="font-weight: bold;"Valid Florida Child Care Director’s Credential (MANDATORY)/span/li
lispan style="font-weight: bold;"Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare management/span/li
lispan style="font-weight: bold;"45 Hours of DCF Child Care Training/span/li
lispan style="font-weight: bold;"Candidates with OCPS and DCF clearance are preferred./span/li
liMust be at least 18 years old/li
liHigh School Diploma (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)/li
liSatisfactory Criminal Background Drug Screening/li
liFirst Aid CPR Certification/li
liMust live locally and have reliable transportation/li

lispan style="font-weight: bold;"Pay: /span$17-$19 per hour, biweekly, based on credentials and experience/li

pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Discover After School Seasonal Camp Opportunity Disclosure:/span/p
pAt Discover After School, our main employment period is from August to June, with seasonal camp opportunities available during breaks. Staffing for camps depends on student enrollment, so not all staff may work during seasonal camp breaks. We conduct a survey at the end of each season to determine who is interested in working seasonal camps./p
pManagers choose top counselors based on their work ethics and reliability, emphasizing factors like attendance and punctuality because camp is a full-day commitment and requires dependable staff. Additionally, we survey employees at the end of the school year to confirm who will return for the next school year. Returning employees are guaranteed a position with a good recommendation from their manager./p
